This Writing Business Is About To Go Bust
I love keeping journals. I love putting all sorts of things into them and keeping notes on not just my trips but all the weird little things that I see out here. My only regret is that I don't have a digital camera because I would be posting mad amounts of zany pics all over the place. For now, I'll just have to download from what's available on the 'net.
As for writing things down by hand, I have been slacking. My last entry was May 27th. That was my last entry in my first journal, which wrapped it up. From Venice to Nis (pronounced, Neesh) in Serbia. My first 88 days. Not bad for wrapping up a small book. Personally, I prefer to write things down but I am finding myself more and more addicted to being online than anything else - that is, when I'm not traveling - and this allows me a convenience that I often don't have, which is to combine all sorts of multimedia in order to present my thoughts.
This is where I am now: Chisinau, which is the capital of Moldova.
A country to the east of Romania, Moldova is the 2nd poorest nation in Europe and has three diverse groups within it's small borders: Romanian-speaking Moldovans, Russian-speaking Moldovans, and the Gagauzians, a Christianized Turkic group.
